Women Protection Organization (WOPO) is a non-governmental, non - profit
making, Volunteer-based and Development Oriented Organization for Women
and the Girl Child. Established in year 2000 and registered under the
laws of Federal Republic of Nigeria with CAC No: 25330 in 2007

WOPO advocates committedly for Women and the Girl Child on issues such
as: Health Care, Human Right’s protection, Gender Justice, Economic and
Social Empowerment. The Purpose is to enable them release their
abilities, potentials and go through transitory period successfully
thereby gain control of their lives. We work within the traditional city
dwellers in Lagos and have the potential for expansion to Women in
other states of Nigeria and Africa couple with interactive fora with
other continents of the World.

Describe your workshop/presentation (300-500 words): 
The workshop will entails the like mind NGOs who want women liberation at
all cost ; it will be power point presentation and it will be in a form
of interactive section where after the presentation the participants can
share their knowledge / experiences on how its affect their country.

The way forward that will bring relieve and support to survivors and
women at risk of violence. Beyond Taiwan Conference 2019. Formation of
International networks coordinating by Global Network of Women’s
Shelters and Garden of Hope Foundation Africa Charter

To promote the SDGoals and learn the exchange of ideas on quality
service for women survivor

Biography: 
Oluwatoyin Towobola, Executive Director and co-founder Women Protection Organisation (WOPO), a social worker and advocate; study Professional Diploma in Community Development, Social-Welfare Extension Education from University of Lagos, Nigeria with 20 years experience in humanitarian work.
She was born in 20th January 1965 in Lagos Island. Married with children. She has partner with many international, national and local to achieve the organizational goals.
