Describe your workshop/presentation (300-500 words):
The Anti-violence centre Voce Donna in Pordenone is part of the National Network DiRe Donne in rete contro la violenza which unites 80 centres in all of Italy. DiRe is part of the European Network of Anti-violence centres WAVE Women Against Violence in Europe. The anti-violence centre Voce Donna in Pordenone is located in the Italian Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia, a special administrative region. The local Government funds some of the anti-violence centres work. The major government goal of this program is the ability to aid the women in parenting and at the same time having them enter the job market at the end of their ordeal.

The project SiConTe was launched in 2015. The project is supported by the Region in collaboration with Anti-violence centres, Social Services and Placement offices. The Region offers 80% of the expenses for babysitting, when women are in safe houses or in counseling at the anti-violence centres.
Anti-violence centres or social services are able to certify the end of a woman’s journey, which at that point, the woman in question can go to a placement office and ask for the necessary economic help for a babysitter.
