Describe your workshop/presentation (300-500 words):
Sexual violence victims are often voiceless, due to their traumatic experiences of fear, disappointment, mental and physical breakdown. Migrant workers are additionally at risk, due to language and cultural barriers. The purpose of this workshop is to share the achievement of the migrant survivors and the support given by the GOH migrant shelters. Emphasizing cultural, linguistic, and personal aspects, migrant workers were able to rehabilitate and simultaneously regain energy by attending the #MeToowithMigrants movement. Voicing for more migrant workers has thus become an inevitable part of the rehabilitation.
性暴力被害人在暴力發生當下及後續復原過程中¸恐懼, 失落, 身心靈界線被迫瓦解, 使他們成為一群失語的人. 而移工被害人, 更面臨主流語言和自我主體意識喪失的雙重失語情境.
